Many nameless white tombstones at the Fulton State Hospital Cemetery surround the new headstone of August Emile Feltz, a Civil War veteran who died at FSH of tuberculosis in 1901.

Stan Busken had always heard his family speak well of his maternal great-grandfather, August Emile Feltz. When Busken learned Feltz fought as a Union soldier in the Civil War, it only spurred on his interest.
