Three friendly competitors in the annual Mule Derby at the Fulton Street Fair are, from left, Bruce Harris of Callaway Bank, John Bell of Ovid Bell Press, and Roger Moser of Moser’s Supermarkets. The three had their side race runoff with an entry fee of $1,000 each as a donation to SERVE. The two finishing second and third had to donate an additional $1,000 to SERVE. In the end Harris’s mule won but he also donated an extra $1,000 to SERVE, giving SERVE a total contribution of $6,000 from the three Fulton men. The winner of the actual Callaway Cup Mule Derby was Moser's Supermarket.
