David Tramel, right, the new superintendent of the New Bloomfield R-3 School District, attended a school board meeting as a spectator on June 30, the day before his first day on the job. He listened to a budget presentation by Jason Hoffman, left, who serves as a fiscal consultant to the board. Tramel will be welcomed as the new superintendent at a 6 p.m. dinner and reception in his honor on Monday, July 18, at the New Bloomfield High School Cafeteria.
