He said sales this year at his location just outside Fulton were down a little, mainly because of increased competiton from new fireworks stands inside Fulton that are now legal.

New fireworks ordinance leads to fewer complaints

A new ordinance that allows people to buy and set off fireworks inside Fulton’s city limits caused no problems during the Independence Day weekend for law enforcement and fire departments, city officials said Tuesday.
