Dak Dillion/FULTON SUN: Fulton senior Ryan Fritz seeks an escape against Bolivar junior Aaron Allen in their third-place match at 171 pounds on Saturday in the Class 2 state championships at Mizzou Arena in Columbia. Fritz (34-2) capped off his high school career by pinning Allen in 1 minute, 52 seconds.

The Fulton Hornets closed out the 81st MSHSAA Wrestling Championships by producing a trio of medalists Saturday. Senior Ryan Fritz topped off his high school career by taking third place at 171 pounds in Class 2, while sophomore Cody Pae finished fifth at 125.
