Lance Cpl. Tyler Huffman greets well wishers after lighting the Holts Summit Christmas tree Thursday evening, at Hibernia Station Park. Huffman will be the parade marshal during the city’s annual Christmas parade at 2 p.m., Saturday.

Christmas tree lighting in Holts Summit
The North School Notables serenade the crowd with a Christmas carol medley just before the Holts Summit Christmas Tree Lighting Thursday evening, at Hibernia Station Park. This is the first year for the ceremony which officials said they hope to make an annual event.
