Joel LeMaster of Fulton, a member of the Central Missouri Chapter of Safari Club International, Friday stands beside a pickup truck with a load of frozen processed venison that was donated by Callaway County deer hunters during the firearms hunting season that ended Tuesday in Missouri. LeMaster and Earl Cannon, another club member, plan to distribute more than 20,000 pounds of donated venison to area food banks and charities.

During the weekend, Sportsmen Against Hunger began to distribute donated venison to food charities in Callaway County and throughout Central Missouri.
