Jane White, 74, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Fulton Manor following a valiant battle against cancer. She was born July 31, 1938, in Mexico, Mo., the daughter of the late John Alton and Nola (Bonney) Smith. Jane was united in marriage to Wayne White in January of 1972. He preceded her in death. Jane worked in the family business, White Moving and Storage, from 1969 until 1993. She loved going to the casino, crafts, dancing, and playing bingo. The most special times in her life were those spent with her children and grandchildren. Those remaining to cherish her memory are her children, Patty Lopez (Vale) of Fulton, Randy Hudson (Rhonda) of Higbee, Mo., Kim Hudson of Fulton, Terry White (David) of Fulton, Jonee Shackelford of Fulton, and Bonnie Nelson (Russell) of Fulton; step-children, Larry White (Debbie) of Litchfield, Ill., Lynn Scoggins (Terry) of Fulton, Terry White (Cheryl) of Fulton, Susie Doyle (Kevin) of Alabama, Willie White (Tiffany) of Higbee, Mo.; brother, Ronald Lee Smith (Margie) of Gladstone, Mo.; sister, Bonnie Williams (Bob) of Fulton; grandchildren, Antonio Lopez (Tiffany) of Fulton, Manuel Hudson, Ryan Hudson (Jessie) of Higbee, Ross Hudson (Jennifer) of Fayette, Jamie Hess (Zane) of Higbee, Michael White and Daryl White of Fulton, Stacy Miller (Bob) of Fulton, Shawn Shackelford, Taylor and Landon Nelson of Fulton; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one great-niece; two great nephews; and a great-great-nephew and great-great-niece. Along with her parents and husband, Jane was preceded in death by one brother Bob Qualls; one sister, Shirley Dudley; one half-sister, Loraine Mercer; two infant granddaughters; and her step-father, "Nick" Nichols, who raised her. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Richie Thomas officiating. Entombment will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
