Joseph Warren "Zim" Zimmerman, 84, of Fulton, Missouri, June 28, 2012, at his home. He was born July 1,1927, in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of Joseph Zimmerman and Elma (Sachs) Zimmerman. On January 14,1950, he was united in marriage to Lois Dean (Marshall) Zimmerman who survives at their home. After marriage, Zim moved to Fulton to operate his first business the Hiway Tavern. In 1966, Zim opened Zim's clothing store, which he owned and operated for over 40 years until his retirement. He spent his retirement years tending his garden and setting on the porch with his beagle, Tippy. Along with his wife Lois, he is survived by one son, Dennis (Kathy) Zimmerman of Fulton; one daughter, Debi (Bill) McIntire of Fulton; one grandson Kai Zimmerman; two sisters, Naomi "Dutch" Plybon and Denise "Detz" Brugiona; several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
