Linda Lou Jacque

July 30, 1942 - November 29, 2011

Linda Lou Jacque, 69, of Auxvasse, Mo., passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at Landmark Hospital. She was born on July 30, 1942, in Braidwood, Ill., the daughter of the late John Lestina and Mildred (Dite) Lestina. Linda was united in marriage to Raymond Jacque on March 13, 1965. Raymond preceded her in death. Linda will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Raymond Jacque and wife, Maru, of San Antonio, Texas; five daughters, Renee Alksnis and significant other, Thomas Miller, of Mexico, Mo., Angela Hammond and husband, William, of Columbia, Mo., Cheri Stamper and husband, Todd, of Mexico, Mo., Michelle Green and husband, Brian, of Clark, Mo., and Kristina Bushnell and husband, Ricky, of Mexico, Mo.; 13 grandchildren, Aileen Jacque, Raymond Jacque, Taryn Alksnis, Marcus Miller, Claudia Hammond, Lee Hammond, Emily Hammond, Esther Hammond, Alexis Hammond, Camden Stamper, Blake Green, Hannah Green, and Carson Bushnell; one brother, Frank Lestina and wife, Sandra, of Coal City, Ill.; four sisters, Mildred Lestina of Coal City, Ill., Phillis Dalton of Rockdale, Ill., Dorothy Lestina of Coal City, Ill., and Janette Lestina of Coal City, Ill.; and beloved aunt Lorraine Hansen of Morris, Ill. In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by one brother, John "Jackie" Lestina. Linda was a member of St. Brendan's Church in Mexico. She loved spending time with friends, family, and her grandchildren. Linda also enjoyed going to the casino and cooking. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Mo., with Father John Schmitz officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home with a Rosary Service at 6:45 pm.
