Lynetta "Lyn" Korff

1963 - 2011

Lynetta "Lyn" Marie Korff, 48, of Fulton, went home with her Lord on Monday, July 18, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born January 16, 1963, in Copiague, Long Island, New York, the daughter of Dennis B. Clark and D o n n a ( L u n e t t a ) Tendiglia.
On February 18, 1989, she was united in marriage to Gary L. Korff.
Lyn received her Master's Degree in Library Sciences from the University of Missouri, a Bachelor of Science Degree in English Communications from William Woods College, and an Associate's Degree for Deaf Interpretation from the Missouri School for the Deaf. She worked as a librarian for the Callaway County Public Library.
She had attended St. Albans Episcopal Church and served as representative for St. Alban's on the Ecumenical Council. She was instrumental in starting the Callaway County Habitat for Humanity Organization. She was very involved in the refurbishing of Haven House. Lyn was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She was involved in the Callaway County Humane Society. She loved stray animals, reading, collecting books, bird watching and tending her flower garden.
In addition to her husband Gary, Lyn leaves behind her loving parents, Dennis B. Clark (Joyce), of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and her mother, Donna Tendiglia (Joseph), of St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Lyn will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Amanda Marie and her son, Alexander Lee Korff, both of Fulton. She leaves behind one brother, Patrick D. Clark, and one nephew, Kevin Clark, both of Marietta, Georgia; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2011, with a visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at St. Peters Catholic Church in Fulton, with Father Frank Bussman officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton.
