Annie "Lucille" Fultz, 87, of Fulton, was called to her Heavenly home on Thursday, May 16, 2019. Born in Houston, Texas on July 22, 1931, Lucille was the daughter of the late Herbert Alvin Davis and the late Myrtle (Ford) Davis. On June 1, 1949, Lucille was united in marriage to Ernest Bradley "E.B." Fultz. He preceded her in death on October 9, 1999. Lucille was a dedicated mother and talented seamstress. She was a woman of God and lived her life as a testament to Him. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for more than 30 years and Women's Missionary Union Director. She was also Director of Callaway/Audrain Baptist Association Women's Missionary Union for many years. Lucille went on several mission trips, including one in Belarus. She traveled to Taiwan three times as part of an international student ministry. She was instrumental in starting a church in rural Minnesota in the 60s. In 1957, she served as church clerk and Intermediate Training Union Teacher in Belzoni, Mississippi. Fulton Kiwanis recognized her in 1995, with an award showing their appreciation for her dedicated efforts in the spiritual advancement of the Fulton community and beyond. In her spare time, Lucille enjoyed watching and playing sports including bowling, softball and volleyball. Those remaining to cherish her memory include son, Ernest Bradley Fultz Jr. (Shelley Quanrud Fultz) of Grand Forks, N.D.; daughters, Margaret Ann Fultz Fansler (Ronald Edward Fansler) of Auxvasse, Donna Gay Fultz Bonvillian (David Glenn Bonvillian) of Auxvasse, and Naomi Jean Fultz Scantlan (Kevin Dwayne Scantlan) of Columbia; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Lucille was preceded in death by granddaughter, Kristy Jane Fultz; two brothers; and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20, 2019, at Southside Baptist Church with Brother Guy Thomas officiating. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at the church. Interment will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
