Alberta Sue Barrett

Alberta Sue Barrett, 79, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019, at her home. Susie was born on September 18, 1939 in Fulton to the late Lee and Ida Thomas Peneston. She was married to Charley Barrett on July 27, 1968 in Fulton and he preceded her in death in 2011. Susie worked for the Fulton State Hospital for over 37 years until her retirement in 1994. She was an active member of Carrington Baptist Church and she will be remembered as someone who loved to take care of her nieces and nephews. She is survived by 13 nieces and nephews, 24 great-nieces and nephews and 16 great-great-nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, LeRoy, Bill, Herb, George and Bob Peneston, along with one niece and one great-niece. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carrington Baptist Church in care of Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, MO 65251. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Fulton.
