Irislee Marie Prada

Irislee Marie Prada, 100, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019, at John Knox Village in Lee's Summit, Missouri. She was born in Clark, Missouri on September 21, 1918, the daughter of the late Nathan Kenzy Pope and the late Lily Margaret (Reynolds) Pope. On January 5, 1941, Irislee was united in marriage to John William "Bill" Prada. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1997, after 56 years of marriage. Irislee was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) where she served on the Board of Directors and as an Elder. A community-minded individual, Irislee served on the Presbyterian Manor Advisory Board, Clothes Cupboard Board, and was active with Girl Scouts, serving on as a Troop Leader and on the Mid-Missouri Council. She was also a member of P.E.O., Study Club, and Delta Gamma Sorority. Her memory will be cherished by son, John William Prada Jr. and his wife Judy of Kansas City, Mo.; daughter, Penny Lee Prada Braun of Flagstaff, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. It was Irislee's wish to be cremated and laid to rest next to her husband at Hillcrest Cemetery.
