Mary Elizabeth "Peggy" Turner, a resident of Fulton, Mo., was called to the Lord's kitchen in her sleep on Friday, January 4, 2019. Peggy was born on November 29, 1930 in Baxter Springs, Cherokee County, Kan., to Mack Arthur Inman and Crystal Pauline Bynum. Peggy was the fifth of six children and the second daughter. She loved cooking - one of her special talents - and loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She also loved to watch the Hallmark Channel on TV especially around Christmas, and view her favorite movie, "The Christmas Card" which was filmed in Nevada City, Calif. One year she visited there with her family and a dream was fulfilled. She lived in Fresno, Calif. and Reno, Nev. for many years and was a member of Granite Hills Baptist Church in Reno and left many friends and family there. Peggy is now cooking her fudge, cookies, and other great dishes for her family and friends already in heaven. She is survived by her four children: John Henry Turner, Jr. (Sandy) of Clovis, Calif., Deborah Sue Warnshuis (Tom) of Reedley, Calif., Janice Lynn Manning (Dwayne) of Fulton, Mo., and Dorothy June Roth (Kevin) of Klamath Falls, Ore.; 15 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Turner. Cremation has taken place, and her ashes will be shared with her loved ones. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Peggy is forever in our hearts and will be deeply missed. We love you mom "Nanny".
