Robert Leslie Autenrieth, 87, of Fulton, went to his Heavenly Home on Friday, January 11, 2019, and was reunited with his loving wife Virginia Hurley Autenrieth, who preceded him in death. Robert was born August 28, 1931 in Fulton, to the late Olin and Edna (Litel) Autenrieth. On May 12, 1951 he and Virginia were married and the two shared their lives together for over 62 years. Robert loved his Lord and his family, which included his church family at Carrington Baptist Church. After Virginia went to be with the Lord in 2014 Robert moved into the Fulton Manor Care Center. Robert will be lovingly missed by his two birth children: Phil Autenrieth (Debbie) of Fulton, and Norma Braswell (Ken) of Four Oaks, N.C., along with his two children of love: Gary and Cathy Starkey, who took care of him and were such a blessing to him each day. He will also be lovingly missed by his three grandchildren: Melissa Autenrieth of Fulton, Trevor W. Laurie (Lauren) of Alexandria, Va., and Tracy Boykin (William) of Godwin, N.C.; his great-grandson: Brennan W. Laurie of Alexandria, Va.; along with his sisters: Sylvia Hampton and Trellis Blansett, both of Fulton; and his brother: Danny O. Autenrieth of Ocean Springs, Miss. Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by two sisters: Irene Jones and Helen Keitel. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 17 at Debo Funeral Home with the Reverend Bruce Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
