William Richard Newton, 54, of Fulton, was called to his Heavenly home on Thursday, February 14, 2019. Bill was born on July 8, 1964, in Woborn, Massachusetts, the son of the late Robert Newton Sr. and the late Sandra (Cantin) Campbell. On January 23, 1988, Bill was united in marriage to Terri (Jimenez) Newton. She survives his passing. Bill proudly served his country as a United States Marine. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Religion and served as Pastor of New Wine Fellowship Church in Fulton. Ministry was his life and he loved to encourage and take care of everyone. Bill loved golf and Oreo cookies, but more importantly, spending time with his family. Bill will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 31 years; son, PFC Matthew James Newton of Fulton, who is currently serving in the United States Army; daughter, Cassandra Ann-Marie Milton (Andrew) of Oklahoma City, Okla.; step-father, William Campbell of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., brothers, Robert Newton Jr. (Patrice) of Jacksonville, Ore., and Ken Newton (Lori) of Maple Valley, Wash.; sister, Debra Wilson (Scott) of Caldwell, Texas.; grandchildren, Eli and Elena Milton; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Dr. Dale Roberts and Pastor Shernette Mosley officiating. Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will be in Jefferson Barracks.
