Marjorie Helen Atterberry

Marjorie Helen Atterberry, 75, of Fulton, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Fulton Manor. She was born June 10, 1943 in Americus, Mo., the daughter of the late Vincent Vernon Overkamp and the late Mary (Cundiff) Overkamp. On June 9, 1962, Marjorie was united in marriage to William Earl "Mike" Atterberry, who survives her passing. Marjorie enjoyed spending time gardening and tending to her flower beds. Her other hobbies include crocheting, quilting, playing cards and her crafts. One of Marjorie's greatest pleasures was spending time in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa where she went camping with her entire family each year.  Those remaining to mourn her passing include two sons, Robert Earl Atterberry (Mary) of Fulton and William Vernon Atterberry (Dottie McDermit) of Calwood; one daughter, Helen Jeanette Atterberry of Fulton; one brother, Wayne Vernon Overkamp of Americus; four grandchildren, Kadie Elizabeth Atterberry, Isaiah Matthew Williams, Irene Daly and Angela Jo McDermit.  In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Eugene Overkamp.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Mary Maddox officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Atterberry Benskin Cemetery.
