Gerry Brent Scott

Gerry Brent Scott, age 58, of Auxvasse, Mo., left this world Sunday, April 7, 2019, surrounded by his children and loved ones. Gerry was born June 19, 1960, the son of Charles "Bud" Scott, and Joy L. Scott. His father preceded him in death. Gerry was loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting him and never passed the opportunity to humorously torment everyone that he met or to go fishing. He is survived by his mother, Joy L. Scott; one brother, Galen K. Scott and three sisters, Anna L. Underwood, Sandra J. Scott, and Clarissa L. Gooch. He also left behind five amazing children, Monica A. Ayers, Dusten C. Scott, Corey J. Scott, Keith M. Scott, and Allison J. Scott and multiple grandchildren. He was a proud Marine and much to his surprise and delight received an honorable discharge. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
