Lisa Michelle Simpson

Lisa Michelle Simpson, 50, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Heritage Hall in Centralia, Mo., after a long battle with Huntington's disease. Lisa was born in St. Louis County on Father's Day, June 15, 1968, to Ray Uebinger and Sharon (Downes) Uebinger. She lived in St. Louis County until 1977, when she moved with her parents to Williamsburg, Mo. Lisa attended North Callaway schools until 1985, when she transferred to Fulton High School. She graduated from Fulton High School in 1986. Lisa loved music, babies, and all animals. She was generous, humble and kind. Lisa had a wonderful sense of humor. Her daughter Megan was the light of her life. Lisa is remembered with her love by her mother: Sharon; her daughter: Megan; family and many dear friends. Preceding her in death was her father: Ray Uebinger; her brother: Michael; grandparents: George and Verlene (Howell) Downes, and Charles A. and Dorothy (Shepherd) Uebinger. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Nilson Funeral Home, 5611 E. St. Charles Rd. in Columbia. Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m. Thursday at Nilson Funeral Home, with Chaplain Diane Walk officiating. Burial will be at Williamsburg Cemetery in Williamsburg, Mo.
