William Wentz Sr.

William Lee Wentz Sr., age 54, of Fulton, Mo., went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, October 10,, 2018, at Landmark Hospital in Columbia, Mo. He was born on Sept. 18,1964, in Aurora, Ill. He was a tree trimmer by trade and worked in and around Birmingham, Ala. for most of his adult life. He was an avid hunter and was a Volunteer Fireman in Alabama. He is survived by and his father and step-mother, Charles Wentz and Sherry of Fulton; one son, William Wentz Jr.and Becky of Goodland, Kan.; three sisters, Angela Wentz of Centralia, Mo., Rebecca (Wentz) Swaim and Brenton of Fulton, Melinda Shelton and Dennis of Carrier Mills, Ill.; and one brother, Marvin Wentz and Roxanne of Ellerslie, Ga.; three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Teal and his brother, Steven Wentz. A memorial service was held on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at Richland Baptist Church in Kingdom City, Mo.
