James "Bussie" Russell Henderson Sr., 85, of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Fulton Presbyterian Manor in Fulton. James R. Henderson Sr., fondly known by family, friends and acquaintances as Bussie, was born on June 6, 1932, in Fulton, the son of Otho Lee and Winnie (Pasley) Henderson, who preceded him in death. He was married on January 21, 1956, in Fulton to Estella Mae Black and to this union three children were born: Jackie, Mitch and Jimmy. Estella preceded him in death on May 26, 2009. Bussie attended Fulton Public Schools and Lincoln Laboratory High School in Jefferson City. He then served in the U.S. Army. Bussie worked at the Missouri Department of Revenue Motor Vehicle in Jefferson City for 15 plus years and Gasper's Restaurant and Truck Stop for a short period of time. He retired from Fulton Public Schools after 20 plus years of service as the school custodian and safety patrol officer. Bussie is survived by: one son, Mitchell E. Henderson Sr. of Fulton; one daughter, Jackie Davis (Rickey) of Kansas City; one brother, Granville E. Henderson Sr. of Springfield; one sister, Lillie Mae Clyce of Fulton; six grandchildren, RyKeisha Andrews (Torrence) of Fort Myers, Fla., James R. Henderson III of Fulton, Mitchell E. Henderson Jr. of Fulton, MaToyia Henderson of Chicago, Ill., Tamiko Boles (Kenneth) of Cache, Okla., Desiree Henderson of Phoenix, Ariz.; 12 great-grandchildren and a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. He was also preceded in death by one son, James "Jimmy" Russell Henderson Jr., and one grandson, Rickey Davis Jr. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 501 S. Hwy 54, Fulton, with a visitation prior to services from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the John C.
