Karen Lee Kuczynski

Karen Lee Kuczynski, age 73, formerly of Fulton, died on June 7, 2018, with her family in Grand Rapids, Mich. by her side. Karen was born and raised in Chicago, where she attended Art School after high school graduation. She met and married fellow art student, David A. Kuczynski. They were married 47 years before David passed away in 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Ethel Gunderson. Karen worked as an artist and graphic artist most of her life in both Fulton, Mo. and Southern Calif., where she resided for many years. Karen also loved poetry and wrote many of her own poems. She was a loving mother and friend to many. She is survived by her sister, Gay (Jerry) Tanner; daughters, Jessica (Mitch) Baldwin and Lisa (Troy) Shick; three grandchildren and five nieces and a nephew. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and a private family memorial gathering will be held at a later date. For those who wish memorials may be made to Spectrum Health Foundation, Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion, 145 Michigan St. NE., Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
