Ila Jean (Pope) Bolton, 87, of Kingdom City, Missouri, went to her heavenly home, Thursday, July 26, 2018, at the home of her daughter, Nancy. Ila Jean was born with her identical twin sister Iva Dean to GreenBerry and Charlsie (Helton) Pope of Kingdom City on May 30, 1931, in Fulton, Missouri - one of 14 children. She was married to the love of her life Dale Edward Bolton on April 26, 1952, and from this blessed union they had four daughters: Nancy Polmateer (Lyle), Susan B. Old, both of Kingdom City, Karen Tate (Bruce) of Lake Ozark, Lisa Cramer (Mark) of Macomb, Illinois. Jean went to Craig's (one room school house) in Fulton and graduated from Fulton High School in 1949. She and all of her family were so proud of her graduation from Jefferson City Public School of Practical Nursing in 1970. She worked as an LPN at the old Callaway Memorial Hospital, then became a Callaway County Health Nurse until her retirement in 1992. Jean was an active member of Southside Baptist Church in Fulton, then upon her retirement to Kingdom City, she became an active member of Richland Baptist Church. She was a member of the Kingdom City Ladies Club and the Ladies Auxiliary (the Gideons) and a volunteer at the Kingdom City Tourism Center. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed camping, sewing, gardening and her bluebirds nesting. Jean is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Lisa Cramer and 11 siblings. She is survived by two sisters: her identical twin, Iva Dean, formerly of Kingdom City and Ruby Jewel Monk (Virgil) of Wendell, Idaho. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Shannon Polmateer (Angela), Kristin Moses (Mark), Kara Gray (Christopher), Jessie Blochberger (Jacob) Dustin Turner (Gina), Jerra Hedges (Dall), Joshua Old, Abigail Cramer; 19 great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, July 30, 2018, at Richland Baptist Church in Kingdom City, Missouri at 12:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Nick Drake. Visitation will be at the church Monday, July 30, 2018, from 10:00 until 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Richland Baptist Church Cemetery.
