Ella "Bea" Fischer, 93, of Fulton, was reunited with her husband on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. She was born on September 6, 1924, in Wainwright, the daughter of the late Roy Crump and the late Mattie (Hess) Crump. On October 5, 1946, Bea was married to Wallace W. Fischer. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2004, following 57 years of marriage. Bea was a member of Central Christian Church and the Central Co-workers Extension Club. She was a Sunday School Teacher, 4-H Leader, and served on various church committees. Bea worked at the Shoe Factory, Fulton State Hospital and The Spot Café, which she and Wallace purchased and operated for 17 years. Bea enjoyed her flowers, fishing and traveling. She was adventurous and always ready to try new things such as parasailing with her grandkids at the age of 80 and riding in a hot air balloon. Active in the lives of her family, Bea enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events, concerts, school events, and going on vacation with family. Bea will be remembered as someone who loved to laugh, enjoyed life, and opened her home to anyone who needed mothering. Along with her parents and husband, Bea was preceded in death by infant brother, Harry T. Crump; brothers, Ross Crump, Ransom Crump, and Jim Schanuth; sisters, Christine McCarty and Mildred Rowell; and son-in-law, Louis Williamson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bill Nigus officiating.
