Nada Pearl Jett, 100, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at Fulton Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Holts Summit on February 13, 1917, the daughter of the late Samuel Wesley Branch and the late Annie Elizabeth (Regal) Branch. On December 16, 1935, Nada was united in marriage to Chester Jett, who preceded her in death. Prior to moving to Fulton, Nada worked in dietary and as a caregiver at Grandin School in southwest Missouri. She was a member of Callaway Christian Church. She loved to garden, take care of her yard, and cook. Not once in her lifetime did anyone leave her house hungry. Nada also liked to travel and search for bargains at rummage sales. Her passing leaves behind her daughters, Shirley Edwards of Fulton and Linda Bax of Holts Summit; daughter-in-law, Bettie Jett of Jefferson City; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Nada was preceded in death by sons, Carl and Dennis Jett; daughter-in-law, Dona Jett; and sister, Nina Crump. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Bull Cemetery in Holts Summit.
