Fern Twillman

Fern Twillman, 94, of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at her home. Born in St Louis, Missouri on November 29, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Harry Baumgartner and the late Marie (Scholle) Baumgartner. On December 2, 1944, Fern was united in marriage to Clarence E. Twillman Jr. He preceded her in death on March 15, 2015. Fern was a devoted wife and mother, making it her life's work to tend to her home and her family. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fulton. For many years, she served as a poll worker in Calwood. Fern will be fondly remembered by her children, Norma Guthier (George) of St. Louis County, Ray Twillman of Bend, Ore., Joyce Hussey (Timothy) of Estero, Fla., and Kenneth Twillman (Lori) of Calwood; grandchildren, Kim Busby (Tony), Pam Dorrough, Steve Guthier, Bo Twillman, Sheila Mawdsley (Mike), Jason Twillman (Dana), Angela Coleman (Jamie), Scott Hussey (Jesse), Nick Hussey (Heather), Greg Twillman, Bryan Twillman (Emily), Nola Dodge, Tia Neal (Ryan), and Dustin Vandeloecht; and great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Sarah, Jessi, Alex, Forrest, Sarah, Ethan, Katlyn, Mackenzie, Timmy, Mason, Teddy, Hanna, Landon, Maddox, Cayden, Bryson, Brynlee, Easton, Kayla, and Ella. Along with her parents and husband, Fern was preceded in death by brother, Harry Baumgartner Jr. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend David Mueller officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
