Philip Bernard Haarmann

Philip Bernard Haarmann, 76, of Fulton, passed away at his home on Monday, April 9, 2018. He was born on February 14, 1942, in Bridgeton, Missouri, the son of the late Walter Haarmann and the late Mary (Gruenloh) Haarmann. Philip was united in marriage to Nancy (Lindemann) on August 27, 1966. She survives his passing. Philip loved the outdoors and made his living as a farmer. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. A true family man, Philip enjoyed time spent with his children and grandchildren. Philip is survived by his wife of 51 years; son, Mike Haarmann (Donna) of Fulton; daughter, Jill Custard (Ronald) of Fulton; brother, Larry Haarmann (Dian) of Fulton; grandchildren, Zach and Ryan Custard and Kate Haarmann; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Philip was preceded in death by brother, Art Haarmann; and sister, Lyda Sammelmann. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at St. Peter Catholic Church with Father I. C. Medina officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018, at St. Peter Catholic Church with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
