Vivian Vee Vorhis

Vivian Vee Vorhis, 64, of Laddonia, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. Vee was born May 16, 1953, in Fulton, the son of Orville H. and Mary Frances (McClintic) Vorhis. Mr. Vorhis graduated from North Callaway High School and then the University of Missouri with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Husbandry and Agriculture Education. Later, he obtained a Master's Degree in Practical Arts Vocational Technical Education. In 1976, Vee started teaching Agriculture Education in the public school system. After retiring, he managed an apartment building and a retail store in Branson from 2005-2010. He also worked at Wonneman's Flowers for 15 years. Survivors include one brother, Orville H. Vorhis of Hatton; and one sister, Helen F. Vorhis of Hatton. Vee was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at Arnold Funeral Home with Ellen Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
