Warren Leroy (Roy) Moss

Dr. Warren Leroy (Roy) Moss, 63, of Grain Valley, Mo., went into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. Left to honor Dr. Moss and carry on his legacy are his wife of 41 years, Patricia Moss; his five sons and daughters-in-law, Bryson and Dee Moss of Springdale, Ark., David and Amy Moss of Overland Park, Kan., Trenton and Heather Moss of Fayetteville, Ark., Patrick and Libby Moss of Roeland Park, Kan., and Michael and Brianna Moss of Prairie Village, Kan.; and his 10 grandchildren: Carter, Avery and Graham (Bryson and Dee), Ella, Lucy and Scarlett (David & Amy), Mason (Trenton and Heather), Cooper and Maggie (Patrick & Libby), William (Michael and Brianna). He is also survived by his sisters, Bev McAuley and husband Mike of Wellsville, Kan., Diana Bayless of Wellsville, Kan., Lori Workman of Wellsville, Kan.; brother, Bob Moss and wife Jean Ann Moss of Wellsville, Kan.; and 23 nieces and nephews. Dr. Moss was preceded in death by his father, Elmer; mother, Isabelle; brother, Mike, and brother-in-law Jim Bayless. Visitation services will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday May 12 at First Baptist Church in Blue Springs, Mo. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13 at First Baptist Church in Blue Springs, Mo. There will be a private burial ceremony for the family at Wellsville Cemetery.
