Wanda Fay Giboney, 73, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Hospital. She was born in Fulton on May 26, 1943, the daughter of the late Walter Stubblefield and the late Eunice (Womack) Stubblefield. Wanda was united in marriage to Gene Giboney on March 13, 1959. He preceded her in death. Wanda retired from the Housekeeping Department of Fulton State Hospital. She liked to take rides in the country and spending time with her grandchildren. Those remaining to mourn her passing include son, Daniel Giboney of Fulton; daughters, Pat Gordon (Roger) of Fulton, and Janet Wimmer of Williamsburg; brothers, James Stubblefield (Shirley) of Auxvasse, and Bill Stubblefield (Shirley) of Farber, Mo.; sister, Anna Willard of Fulton; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, Wanda was preceded in death by brothers, Bud and Leroy Stubblefield. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at White Cloud Cemetery in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
