Marjorie DuBuque

Marjorie DuBuque, 80, formerly of Fulton, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017, in Boonville, Missouri surrounded by her family. Marjorie was born May 15, 1937, in Brumley, Missouri to Clarence and Ida Duncan Shelton who preceded her in death. She married Tom DuBuque on September 11, 1958, in Ballwin, Missouri and he preceded her in death. She was a 1955 graduate of Eureka High School and in 1963, she and Tom opened the Dog 'N' Sud's Restaurant in Fulton. She then worked as the Manager of Mode O' Day Clothing Store in Jefferson City, before moving to Bowling Green, Missouri and operating the Terrace Motel with her husband. In 1971, the family returned to Fulton and re-opened Dog 'N' Sud's as T & M's Drive-In. She left the restaurant business and started working at Wal-Mart in Fulton until her retirement as Assistant Manager in 1992. She enjoyed sewing and making clothes, working with the animals on the Hobby Farm that she and Tom owned and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. She and Tom liked to eat out, attend sales and auctions, and spoil their grandson. She is survived by her daughter, Missy DuBuque of Boonville; grandson, Garrett Thomas Walther of Boonville; sister-in-law, Pat Presley; niece, Marsha Presley and nephews, Roy Presley and Michael Presley. Marjorie was also preceded in death by her twin brother, Donald Shelton and sisters, Ina Luttrell, Anita Colvin and Edna Marie Shelton. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Entombment will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2017, at the funeral home.
