LaVerne E Meuth

LaVerne E. Meuth, 80, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at her home. She was born on May 21, 1937 in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Albert B. Luedloff and the late Augusta Catherine (Theby) Luedloff. LaVerne was married in September of 1955 to Henry Vincent Meuth, who preceded her in death. Her long-time companion, Skip Laughlin, survives her passing. LaVerne was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She had worked for Callaway Carriers since 1993. She was gifted with a green thumb and took great pride in her plants and flowers. Never a woman to sit idly, she was always on the go and enjoyed attending her grandchildren's ball games, traveling, and going to the YMCA. Those remaining to survive her passing include daughters, Shelby Martin (Darrell) of Fulton, Sherry Lee (Les) of Fulton, and Shirley Meuth of Auxvasse; grandchildren, Vince Martin (Shantell), Jeremy Salmons, Steven Meuth (Dana), Chris Martin (Kim), Michael Watson, Kayla Sorell (Trenton), Haley Moore, and Alesa Lee; and great-grandchildren, Rachelle Miller, Brooke Miller, Kaeyla Macon, Kaedon Macon, Austin Bledsoe, Brooklynn Meuth, Addilynn Martin, Jaxson Martin, Kayden Sorell, Tucker Sorell, and Mason Woolfolk. Along with her parents and husband, LaVerne was preceded in death by brothers, Allen and Vernon Luedloff. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Father Frank Bussmann officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Saint Alphonsus Cemetery in Millwood, Mo.
