Paula Jane O'Neal, 72, of Fulton, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017, peacefully at home, surrounded by family. She was born November 8, 1944, in Fort Leonard Wood, daughter to the late Edward "Pat" Patrick and Pauline (Thomas) Patrick. She was united in marriage to Duane "Keith" O'Neal on August 23, 1963, who survives of the home. She graduated from Fulton High School and later worked at Stride Rite, State Farm and Tonanzio's. For over 20 years, Paula and her husband had several businesses including Carrington Auto Sales, Country Mart, and Mexican Imports until their retirement. She was a member of the Carrington Baptist Church. She enjoyed casinos, reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with her family. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa (Casey Kossman) O'Neal and Tanya (John) Canada of Fulton; one son, Brian O'Neal of Sedalia, two brothers, Mike (Sandy) Patrick of St. Louis, and Bruce (Bev) Patrick of Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Brianna Kossman, Nick Hoover, Cole Canada, Kyle Canada, Landon O'Neal, Logan O'Neal and Alex Bradley; one great-grandchild, Cheylee Hoover; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Paula's wishes were honored to be cremated so a Celebration of Life will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2017, at the Carrington Baptist Church in Fulton. A meal will be provided by the Church after the ceremony. You are encouraged to bring a covered dish or dessert to share. Pastor Jonathan Spurlock will officiate the Memorial Celebration of Life.
