Nina Murl Crump, age 101, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at the Fulton Manor Care Center. She was born November 4, 1915, in Holts Summit, Missouri, to Wesley Branch and Annie Elizabeth Rigle Branch. She was married to Delmus Hilyard Crump. He preceded her in death in 1975. Nina worked for the Brown, International and Stride Rite Shoe Factory, during the war she made ammunition for the Lake City Arsenal and retired after many years at the Fulton State Hospital where she was the only Seamstress III in the State of Missouri. Nina received awards as Employee of the Month from the Fulton State Hospital and Missouri State Employee of the Month in 1985. She will be missed by her Fulton Bible Baptist Church family, where she had been a member since 1976. Her biggest delight besides her family was taking care of the babies in the church nursery for over 40 years. Survivors include one sister, Nada Jett; two daughters, Mona Schilb and Bonnie Craw and her husband, Harold; four grandchildren, Shellie (Jim) Alderson, Andy (Dawn) Craw, Dellmus (Theresa) Murrell and Darrin Payne; three step-grandchildren, Barry and Ronnie Craw and Beth Summitt; nine great-grandchildren, Catrina (Ben) Davis, David (Amanda) Murrell, Nickolas, Harley, and Joshua Payne, Brooke and Catrina Craw, Michelle, Jennifer and Christopher Alderson; four great-great grandchildren, Alexia and Charlett Davis, Rowan and Winter Murrell; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Earnest, Jim, Clinton, Barney, Everett and Otto Branch; and five sisters, Gainel Tussey, Mary Barnes, Ella Havrum, Bertha Mae Knife, and Nellie Stafford. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Tom Tenney officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 2017 from 4-6 p.m. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Fulton Bible Baptist Church.
