Ethel Lucille Morse, 83, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Ashbury Heights. She was born in Rushford, New York on December 30, 1933, the daughter of the late Fred Drummond and the late Grace (Hutchins) Drummond. Ethel was united in marriage to Travis J. Weil on December 20, 1958 and to Ken Morse October 27, 1977. Both preceded her in death. Ethel's first job was working for the FBI in Washington, D.C. After moving to Hollywood, Calif., she married Travis Weil. While there, she worked as a secretary for several years. They moved to Southwest Missouri, and later moved to Fulton. She worked as a secretary at Fulton State Hospital for 24 years. Ethel was a member of the VFW Auxiliary for many years. She enjoyed deer hunting. Those surviving her passing include son, T. J. Weil of Fulton; step-sons, David A. Morse of Hawaii, and Kenneth Morse of Mexico, Mo.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; son, Arthur L. "Artie" Weil; step-son, Charles Weil; and two brothers, Elston and Ralph Drummond. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Rick Conley officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
