Douglas Rodecape, 63, of Fulton, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017, at his home. Doug was born January 5, 1954 in Fulton to Harry and Phyllis Gowin Rodecape. Doug served in the United States Army from 1972-1976 and he was an M.P. with a dog at the demilitarized zone in Korea. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. #2657 in Fulton and at Court Street United Methodist Church. Doug was a logger by trade and he also worked for Rodecape Radiator Shop in Fulton. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a member of the Missouri Trappers Association. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis, of Fulton; sister, Stephanie Davis of Fulton; son, Kevin Alverson of Moberly; daughter, Kari Harbit of Tarkio, Missouri; grandchildren, Kearstan and Tayler Alverson and Jina, Emily and Colton Harbit; nieces and nephews, Jeff Davis, Stacy (Mark) Alley and Kathleen Davis; along with great-nieces and nephews, Freddy and Carson Jones, Ricky (Andrea) Revak, Scotty Revak and Rebecca (Morgan) Milligan. He was preceded by death by his father, Harry, on June 11, 2016. Funeral services with military honors will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. The family will receive guests from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
