Edward Howard DeBrodie

Edward Howard DeBrodie, 70, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at Boone Hospital Center. He was born in Callaway County on May 25, 1946, the son of the late Dominick DeBrodie and the late Hattie Mae (Fielder) DeBrodie. Ed was united in marriage to Elma (Summers) DeBrodie on December 5, 1965. She survives at their home. Ed worked as an operator for Auxvasse Stone and Gravel. His passion was trading. Those remaining to mourn his passing include brothers, Donald DeBrodie (Juanita) of Mokane, Joe DeBrodie (Ivie) of New Bloomfield, and Carl DeBrodie of Centertown; grandchildren, Ryan Foley, Justin DeBrodie, Krista DeBrodie, and Lacey DeBrodie; great-grandchildren, Oliver Foley and Micah Vladeff; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his children, Edward Washington "Boomer", William Walter, Darlene Dawn, and Lisa Renee DeBrodie; brothers, Charlie and Frank DeBrodie; and sister, Emma Marie Branch. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Maupin Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
