Marilyn Gay Curry, 53, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at her home. She was born on December 4, 1963 in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Carolyn (Galwith) Alexander and the late Jack R. Alexander. Marilyn is survived by her mother, Carolyn of Fulton; son, Jeremy Shiverdecker of Boonville; daughters, Jackie Alexander of Fulton and Chyrstal Meadows (Shannon) of Columbia; sisters, Jackie Riley of Olathe, Kan. and Renee Stanley of Bonner Springs, Kan.; four grandchildren, Taylor Shiverdecker, Alexandria Eaton, Collin Wallace, and Jaxon Alexander; uncle, Gary Galwith; and aunts, Linda Robinson, Dixie Barber and Naomi Vickery. She was preceded in death by her father, and step-brother, Keith Alexander. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2017 at New Hope Baptist Church in Calwood with Jeremy Polston officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.
