Katherine Mary Fulkerson

Mrs. Katherine Mary Fulkerson, 73, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017, at the UNC Rex Hospital. Born December 15, 1944, in Overland, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Louis Henry and Laura Viola (McAllister) Henry. Katherine attended Auxvasse High School and moved to North Carolina in 1984. She enjoyed a varied career and retired in 2006 from LG Electronics. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Dale Fulkerson of Raleigh, N.C.; by sons, Jeffrey and his wife Melissa of Holly Springs, N.C. and Stephen and his wife Katy of San Antonio, Texas; and by three granddaughters, Lauren and Lily of San Antonio, and Kat of Holly Springs. She is also survived by a brother, Tommy of Harvester, Mo.; a brother, Leonard of Windsor Heights, Iowa; a sister, Jane of Chapel Hill, Tenn.; a sister, Shirley of Budapest, Hungary; and by scores of nieces and nephews. Friends may visit Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the Montlawn Funeral Home chapel at 2911 S. Wilmington Street in Raleigh, N.C. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow on the premises in the Montlawn Memorial Park.
