Alex Bernard Bode

Alex Bernard Bode, 96, of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at his home. Alex was born on February 18, 1921 in Taos, Missouri to Stephen and Johanna Koetting Bode, who preceded him in death. His wife, Dorothy Belle Crump Bode, preceded him in death in 2008. He is survived by three children, Gary Bode of Springfield, Virginia, Linda Aungerer and Janice Bode, both of New Bloomfield, Missouri; two older sisters, Meldred and Helen, both of Jefferson City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Gavin Bode of Texas, Dustin Brown of Kansas and Lara Snyder of Missouri; along with one great-granddaughter, Linda Lee of Texas. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Entombment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia, Missouri. The family will receive guests from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the funeral home.
