Leonard Allen Winkler

Leonard Allen Winkler, 77, of Fulton, passed Saturday, August 12, 2017. He was the son of Leroy Winkler and Madeline E. Reynolds. Survivors include: his wife: Darlene Winkler (Salts) and her sons: Franklin R. Salmons III (Loretta) and their three children, Jay R. Salmons and Edward Salmons with his two children; and daughter, Francis Fortner Salmons (Clint) and their four children; brothers: Mel R. Winkler (Rita) and William "Billy" Fred Winkler. Leonard is also survived by: sons: Jerry Harold Winkler-Becky Perez and their children and grandchildren; Jerry's son, Patrick Allen Winkler and his son Paxton Lee Winkler, daughter Amber Marie Winkler, her son Bentley Gene Agnew; Keith Allen English, wife Kelly English (Earleywine) and their children, Keith Andrew, Paige Catherine (daughter Nora), Reanna Elizabeth (daughter Olivia); Jeffery Handlang, daughter Valarie Sebacher (Winkler), husband Scott and their children, Abbygail, Aaron, Austin; daughter, Vicky Gilbert (Winkler) and husband Adam and their children Nathan, Natalie Huff; Debbie Latham (Winkler) and husband Terry and their children, Daniel, Mackenzie, Jersey, Lisa Latham (Wanner) and husband Robert and their daughter Emily; and best friends, Jerry Reives and Danny Nunn . He was preceded in death by a stepson, Mark M. Salmons (2005). Leonard donated his body to Columbia University and his ashes will be released with the wind in Oklahoma, where his Indian ancestors lived and were buried.
