Loren Raines, Sr.

Loren Raines Sr., 84, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016, at his home. He was born on January 4, 1932, in Paragould, Ark., the son of the late Charles Madison Raines and the late Mattie Louise (Matthews) Raines. On June 27, 1960, Loren was united in marriage to Mary Jean (Butz) Raines. She preceded him in death. Mr. Raines is survived by his son, Loren Raines Jr. of Taiwan; son-in-law, Tony Whitcomb; grandchildren, Johann Raines, Brian Whitcomb, Christopher Raines, Stephen Raines, Sarah Raines and Anna Raines; and great-grandchildren, Jopie Raines, Skylor Whitcomb, Parker Whitcomb and Jaxon Wolfe. Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by daughter, Susan "Kathy" Whitcomb; one brother; and five sisters. No services are planned at this time.
