Antawan JaVere Ferguson, 25, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, as the result of a car accident. He was born in Fulton on July 20, 1991, the son of Neal Richmond and Geanetta Ferguson. Antawan was a Fulton High School Football Star, earning all-district and all-conference honors. He also played basketball. Antawan worked as a caregiver at Brady Independent Living. His greatest achievement was being a new dad to Justice. Those remaining to mourn his passing include his father, Neal Richmond of Fulton; mother and step-father, Geanetta and Eric Stevenson of Fulton; significant other, Sydney White; son, Justice; brothers, Demauryea Ferguson and Daunte Cline; sisters, Shawnta Galbreath, Shaneal Richmond, Shada Richmond, and JacLynn Cline; step-sisters, Diejonia Abbott, and Alexus Anderson; grandparents, Anna Ferguson, Della Richmond, and William Richmond; and step-grandfather, Lenard McNeil; uncles, Isaac Ferguson, Anthony Ferguson, Rodney McNeil, Charles McNeil, Dexter Richmond, and Billy Glenn; aunts, Charlotte Kay Ferguson, Mary Kay Glover, Regina Glover, Rachelle Richmond, and Clarice Williams; nephews, Kingston Ferguson, and Marley Ferguson; and nieces, Taijhea Logan, Chrissyana Richmond, and Chazlyn Long. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Victory Fellowship Church in Fulton with Reverend Cedric Harris officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Southside Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to Maupin Funeral Home for a fund that will be set up for Antawan's son, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.
