Grace A. Gibson
Grace A. Gibson, age 84, of Harlingen, Texas, formerly of Fulton, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri while visiting her son.
Grace was born November 3, 1931, to the late John and Margaret (Lesperance) Ploeckelmann in Gibson, Wisconsin.
She married James E. "Jim" Gibson February 29, 1964, in Waukegan, Illinois. He survives of the home.
Grace owned and operated Four Seasons Beauty Shop in the Palace Hotel in Fulton for many years and was co-owner of Jim's Appliance and Radio Shack. She enjoyed traveling and going to garage sales and auctions.
Grace will be sadly missed by one son, John Pautz of Poplar Bluff; three grandchildren, Jason Pautz of Fulton, Missouri, Andrea Pautz and wife Jen of Overland Park, Kansas, Joel Pautz of Fulton, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Damien Pautz of Phoenix, Ariz. and Aven Pautz of Overland Park, Kansas; two sisters, Sharon (Brull) Strouf and husband Butch, of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Carol (Brull) Tess and husband Tom of DePere, Wisconsin and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Steven Pautz, and a set of infant twins; seven brothers, Ruben Ploeckelmann, Sidney Ploeckelmann, Vernon Parker, Ernie Brull, Roger Brull, Willbert Brull and Elmer Albrechat and two sisters, Sylvia Wall and Lucille Fisher.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at the Cotrell Funeral Service Chapel in Poplar Bluff, Missouri with Celebrant John Pautz and Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon till time of service on Wednesday.
