Michael Lee Harper, 67, of Williamsburg, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at his home. He was born on August 23, 1949 in Fulton, the son of the late Ed Harper and the late Evelyn (Dix) Howard. Michael worked as a Union Laborer for Industrial Installation. He enjoyed wood-working and computers. More than anything, he enjoyed time spent with his family. Those remaining to mourn his loss include his life partner, Karen Lathrop of Williamsburg; son, David Harper (Christy) of Fulton, Rob Miller (Brie) of Springfield, Daniel Miller Jr. of Williamsburg, and Holden Miller of Williamsburg; daughters, Valarie Harper of Fulton, Kelly Morgan (Ronnie) of Portland, Melissa Rothove (David) of Portland, and Pasley Atterberry of Williamsburg; brother, Joe Harper (Vickie) of Jefferson City; sister, Elaine Barnhill (Mike) of Ashland; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Michael was preceded in death by son, Daniel Miller Sr., and brother, James Harper. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Bethel United Methodist Church, 6723 State Road D, Williamsburg, MO, with Pastor Mary Maddox officiating.
