Vyrla Darla Blackburn

Vyrla Dean Blackburn, 77, of Fulton, Mo. left this earth on Monday, June 16, 2014, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Mo. She was born on June 9, 1937, in Readsville, Mo., to Charles and Minnie Hoover. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, spending Friday nights watching racing, going to garage sales on Saturday morning and sitting on the front porch with her neighbors. She also enjoyed singing and dancing to Luke Bryan music. Vyrla is survived by her daughter, Connie (Randy) Foust; her son, Gary (Marsha) Blackburn Jr.; grandchildren, Courtney (Justin) Shiverdecker, Kayla (Joe Garwood) Foust, Lindsey (Andre) Lortie, Kevin (Meghan Singleton) Blackburn, Dave Rugen, Darrell and Darren Henley; great-grandchildren, Brendan and Alivia Lortie; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ray David and Gary Blackburn Sr.; 14 brothers and sisters, Jim, Bob, Gene, Sterling, Leslie, Helen, Evelyn, Shirley, Vera, Amanda, Wayne, Charles, Raymond, and Susie; three sons, Dennis, Dale and Darrell and her parents. Services will be held at Debo Funeral Home on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
