Larry O. Kelsay "Bubby", 66, of New Bloomfield, died Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City, Mo. He was born March 5, 1947, in New Bloomfield, Mo., the son of Luther H. and the late Betty N. Charlton Kelsay. Larry spent most of his life as a farmer. He worked for Gastineau Lumber Company. He loved guns and had a gun collection. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also liked to barbecue for the family and spend time with his nieces and nephews. He loved watching western shows. He is survived by his father; four sisters, Sue Enloe (James), Fulton, Kathy Cassels (James), New Bloomfield, Mary Kay Kemp (J.C.), New Bloomfield, Tina Moon (John), New Bloomfield; one nephew; eight nieces; 20 great-nieces and nephews and three great-great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit, with Rev. Rick Hopkins, officiating. Burial will follow at New Prospect Cemetery in New Bloomfield. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Holts Summit.
