Edith K. Bosch, 83, of Fulton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Boone Hospital Center surrounded by loved ones. She was born December 8, 1930 in Mokane, Mo., the daughter of the late Floyd Burch Kemp and the late Nellie (Rogers) Kemp. On May 26, 1950, Edith was united in marriage to Roy John Bosch. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2011. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church where she served as Sunday school teacher and was active in WMU. Edith was devoted to her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved being outside and tending her flowers. Those remaining who will forever cherish her memory include her daughter, Rhonda Case and her husband Charles F. "Fred" of New Bloomfield; grandchildren, Amanda Case Toebben of Holts Summit and Melissa Case of Fulton; great-grandchildren, Shelby Burnett, Amaya, Kamari, Taliyah and Giana Travis; sisters, Dora Potts (Tommy) of Fulton, and Ruby Underwood (Tom) of Mokane; sisters-in-law, Patty Kemp of Holts Summit, Gladys Payne, Lorene Craighead, and Ruth Franklin, all of Fulton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, Edith was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Richard Kemp; and sister, Helen Leeper. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Reverend Walter D. Lockhart officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the church. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations be made in Edith's name to Ebenezer Baptist Church or the Macular Degeneration Association, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.
