Beulah D. Swiney

Beulah D. Swiney, 85, of Willard, Mo., passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Cox Medical Center. She was born on December 1, 1928, in Hartshorn, Mo. to Walter and Alma Shoults Brim. She was united in marriage to H. Carl Swiney October 2, 1949. She was a beloved wife, mother, and homemaker, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by daughter, Joyce Mays (Larry), Springfield, Mo.; sons, Doyle (Phyllis), Fulton, Mo. and Lindel, Springfield, Mo.; brother, Wayne Brim of Jackson, Mo.; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother, Herman Brim, and two sisters, Eulah Schnetzler and Glenna Heiney. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening, January 9, with a brief memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at Greenlawn East Funeral Home, Springfield, Mo. A graveside service will be held at Antioch Cemetery, Hartshorn, Mo., Friday, January 10, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand Oak Mission, 2854 W.
